Coronavirus Disease: Message To Our Patients, Families and Community

Our community (local, regional, national, and international) is being challenged with an issue of significant scale and impact.  Our thoughts and prayers are with those directly affected by the outbreak of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

We would like you to know that as we confront the challenges of this disease, we are increasingly committed to supporting you during this time.  Your peace of mind is tremendously important to us. Rest assured that our team continues to provide the home hospice experience that meets your needs.

Our nurses, chaplains, and social workers are available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our vendors will continue to provide home-delivered medications, equipment, and supplies.  We encourage you to review the Centers For Disease Control (CDC) recommendations. However, if you’re exhibiting symptoms related to your chronic or end-stage illness, we encourage you to call us instead of your local hospital.

As you know our local hospitals are inundated with increased patient visits.  We will coordinate with all caretakers on visit frequencies from our care team. We are prepared to manage all of your healthcare needs at home.

Also, we are implementing practical ways to prevent the spread of the virus in our workplace and among our patients, families and referral sources. This includes regular sanitizing of our office and infection control practices as recommended by the CDC.

We encourage all of our patients and families to continue following the recommended hygienic prevention methods to ensure everyone’s safety.

Blessings and be safe!
